Ngage Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Project Officer to help develop rural businesses across the Chilterns.

PROJECT OFFICER – LEADER PROGRAMME

Part-time (3 days a week – 22.5 hours) £28,000 FTE + benefits

The overall function of this role is to be the local point of contact and to provide the local delivery of the Chiltern contract in Bucks, South Oxfordshire and North and West Herts.  LEADER is a major European rural funding programme and is a well-established method of providing Rural Development Programme (RDP) funding at the local level. The post holder will work with others to promote and ensure the successful delivery of grant funding in the allocated areas and to ensure the targeted outcomes are achieved in accordance with the Local Development Strategy and annual Delivery Plans.

This is an opportunity to work with ambitious individuals and companies, along with key stakeholder organisations, to deliver funding enabling the creation of jobs and growth in rural areas.

This role will be mainly based in Saunderton with one day a week in Aylesbury.

We are looking for an Animal Keeper to join our team.

Your job role will include:

  • Cleaning out animals, handling and health checking animals.
  • Selling animals and ensuring all paperwork is filled in correctly.
  • Assisting in shop where needed

Previous experience with animals is ideal, training will be provided where needed. As you’ll be dealing with our customers on a daily basis we are looking  for someone who is polite and friendly as well as being helpful when dealing with customer’s enquiries.

Equine Sales Assistant

We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic person to work full-time in the Equine, Clothing and Footwear departments. You will need to be very approachable and happy to speak to people as you will take overall responsibility for customer service on these departments. Good computer skills will be essential as you will be using our till system and emailing answers to online queries in addition to sending out online orders.

Key Elements: 

  • Advise and help customers with our products and services
  • Keep the upstairs department clean and tidy
  • Responsible for stock management
  • Preparation and distribution of online sales

You will need to have Equine experience and preferably experience of sales, although this is not essential. Full training will be given and we are willing to offer advancement and career development to the right candidate.

Role 1 – Customer Management

You will be supporting the company directors as the principle contact between GlamperRV and our customers when they arrive for their GlamperRV self drive hire adventure. It is therefore essential that you are a good
communicator, have a knowledge of how motorhomes operate and an interest in travelling.


You will meet and great our customers at our base at Orchard View Farm, Little Meadle, HP17 9UG, introduce them to GlamperRV and provide a detailed orientation which will include:
– demonstrating all aspects of the luxury motorhome with a familiarisation tour;
– checking customer ID
– signing hire agreement/condition report
– taking customer for a test drive before waving them off on their trip.

Upon the customer return you will meet them again at our base, check GlamperRV for damage and sign the condition report.
In addition to handovers at our base, we would require this individual to occasionally deliver GlamperRV to clients across the south east region.

Role 2 -Cleaning and Preparation
We are also looking for support in preparing the GlamperRV for each customer hire.
This involves:
– a thorough internal clean after each hire
– exterior cleaning where necessary
– checking/replacing peripherals such as gas, toilet chemical and water
– setting up for a hire with fresh water, bed linen etc.
We will offer full training for both roles. They will also pay a good hourly rate and due to the advanced booking process, we can advise timings of working hours well in advance to allow you to fit this extra work
into your busy life.
